Northern Virginia Kiwanis Family Unite for Day of Service -  4/10/2010
The Kiwanis Club of Tysons Corner/McLean, VA volunteered to help with a beautification project at Clemyjontri Park in McLean, Virginia for Kiwanis ONE Day. Over 50 volunteers from the McLean High School Key Club, Centreville High School Key Club, George Mason University CKI Club, Kiwanis Club of Annandale, and Kiwanis Club of Fairfax joined the Tysons Corner club on Saturday to fill in on essential projects the park has not been able to accomplish due to budget shortfalls.

Tysons Corner Kiwanis Allocates $1,000 for Key Leader Sponsorships -  2/21/2010
As a proud believer of its Service Leadership Programs, the Kiwanis Club of Tysons Corner/McLean, Va., has decided to allocated $1,000 to sponsor high school students in the northern Virginia area to attend Key Leader on April 23-25, 2010 in Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center in Millersville, Md.

For non-Key Club members, the club will cover 100 percent of their registration costs (value $200) and for Key Club members, the club will cover $125 of their registration costs. The

February 9th Club Meeting Canceled -  2/7/2010
Due to historic snowstorm we just went through and the fact the National Weather Service has issued another Winter Storm Watch beginning on Tuesday afternoon, our club meeting on the 9th will be canceled.  This also includes the club social as well.  

Please note that the Kiwanis Club of Fairfax Pancake Breakfast on February 6th has been rescheduled for March 6th and your tickets are still good for that event.


Tysons Corner Kiwanis is featured on the Arlington County website -  11/16/2009
Arlington County featured Tysons Corner Kiwanis in their most recent Here/Now program on the Arlington Virginia Network. Our Kiwanis club held a service project to help out with Arlington's Long Branch stream clean up in August 2009. Tysons Corner Kiwanis Announces New Location for Safe Sitter Classes -  8/1/2009
The Kiwanis Club of Tysons Corner is excited to announce a new location for our Safe Sitter® Basic Course! We will hold future classes at Pinecrest School, a wonderful facility located at 7209 Quiet Cove, Annandale, VA 22003. Although Safe Sitter is not affiliated at all with Pinecrest, the school provides a great space for our interactive classes. Division 20 SLP Night -  11/13/2008

Safe Sitter® Great Service Opportunity for Club -  12/10/2006
The Kiwanis Club of Tysons Corner is excited to announce that our first Safe Sitter® Course was a GREAT SUCCESS! It was held Saturday, December 9th at the Fairfax County Government Center. The facilities were perfect for the event, and we will have it again for our next course in the spring. George Mason University CKI Chartered -  10/31/2006
It gives me great pleasure to announce the official chartering of a new CKI club at George Mason University. The club chartered on October 31st 2006 with a paid membership of 47 members. The club is proudly sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Tysons Corner, Virginia,
